Description: Jacques Perritaz runs this very unique cider estate in Fribourg, Switzerland producing ciders with indigenous apple and pear varieties of Switzerland. Jacques also had received the mentorship of a very talented and well known cider producer, Eric Bordelet, whose ciders we also carry on this shop. Eric had shared some of his secrets with Jacques and some of the successes of Ciderie du Vulcain could be attributed to their relationship with each other. Part of the philosophy and belief of Jacques is that ciders could be enjoyed like wines with terroir at the core, and we couldn't agree more. The Trois Pépins is made with, in equal parts, apples, pears and quince. It is a dry style of cider, incredibly crisp, refreshing and complex.
