Varieties: Chenin Blanc
Type: Sparkling Wine
Region & Country: Loire Valley, France
Description: Crémants may be a lesser known style of traditional method sparkling wines (Champagne method) when compared to Champagne, though some examples are in no ways 'lesser' than their prestigious northern counterparts. The Huet Brut Réserve is a sparkling wine made in the Vouvray appellation of the Loire Valley. Huet is simply put, the greatest icon of Vouvray wines, consistently producing wines that are not just benchmark but at the pinnacle of quality winemaking.
The wines are made with Chenin Blanc and bottled at about half the amount of pressure normally in traditional method wines. Elegant, deep and complex, the Huet Vouvray Pétillant will compliment and pair with a wide variety of dishes.
