Description: The Movia winery is located in the village of Ceglo in Goriška Brda, Slovenia, just at the Italian border. The winery has been associated with quality from very early on, its wines having been a favourite of some of the local politicians in the past. The winery is now run by eccentric winemaker Aleš Kristančič and his son, producing wines from biodynamically-farmed fruit. The Movia Ribolla Gialla (locally known as Rebula) is an orange wine made with the Ribolla Gialla variety, native to this corner of Europe. The skin maceration last 2 weeks, extraction both flavour and texture. Expect a really savoury and textural wine, incredibly gastronomic and full of flavour.
